We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Planner for a long-term opportunity on the Sizewell C project in Suffolk. This role is ideal for an experienced planner with a construction or civil engineering background. You will manage the planning and programming function across tender, pre-construction, and construction phases, working closely with clients, consultants, project teams, and key stakeholders to deliver accurate and achievable project programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning function across tender, pre-construction, and construction stages
- Produce, maintain, and manage detailed construction programmes and planning deliverables
- Develop planning methodologies, presentations, and progress reports
- Establish, review, and analyse project critical paths
- Apply resource planning and resource levelling techniques
- Present project programmes and sequencing to project teams and clients
- Prepare and submit contract programmes in accordance with project requirements
- Provide regular programme updates and progress reporting
- Liaise with statutory authorities, utility providers, consultants, and third parties
- Monitor programme performance and identify risks, delays, and opportunities
- Support project delivery teams with planning advice and technical expertise
- Ensure all project planning activities are delivered in line with company procedures
