We’re JMP — a creative content and campaign agency producing high-impact video and social for brands like Sky Bet, Super 6, EFL, RFU, FanDuel and others pushing into social-first storytelling. We create content with purpose — and now we’re looking for a YouTube-focused Video Editor to join the team and help bring it to life every day. We’re looking for a talented YouTube-focused Video Editor to join our team full-time in Bristol. In this role, you’ll be dedicated exclusively to one of our major entertainment clients, working on their fast-growing YouTube channel. This is a chance to help shape a high-profile channel from the inside out — creating content that’s smart, entertaining, and built to perform on platform.
Responsibilities
- Edit long-form gameplay content featuring different talent, alongside recaps, sizzles, and behind-the-scenes pieces.
- Turn around edits quickly and efficiently while maintaining high engagement and quality.
- Deliver fast-turnaround same-day edits for YouTube and social cutdowns.
- Ensure every edit is optimized for YouTube — pacing, hooks, retention, and storytelling.
- Apply basic colour and audio tweaks for professional finish.
- Collaborate closely with producers, directors, and the wider creative team.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of editing experience, with a proven track record on YouTube-first content.
- Strong in Adobe Premiere (motion graphics / After Effects a bonus).
- A sharp sense of pacing, audience retention, and digital storytelling.
- Able to juggle fast turnarounds with creative polish.
- A collaborative team player, but confident working solo.
- Based in or around Bristol, with the ability to work in-office daily.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience editing gaming, sports, or live-stream footage.
- Understanding of YouTube analytics and performance metrics.
- Basic motion design for graphics, lower thirds, and titles.
