Job Description
YouTube & Social Producer (Strategy + Delivery | 6-Month FTC)
£32,000–£35,000 pro-rata | Bristol / Hybrid / Remote | Part-time or Full-time
We’re JMP — a creative content and campaign agency producing high-impact video and social for brands like Sky Bet, Super 6, the EFL, RFU, FanDuel, and others pushing into YouTube-first and social-led storytelling.
We create content that cuts through — and now we’re looking for a Social Producer who can help us scale it strategically.
This is a role for someone who lives and breathes social video — but with a focus on the behind-the-scenes engine. You won’t be shooting or editing — instead, you’ll be the one driving the process: analysing performance, identifying what’s working, briefing creative teams, managing delivery, and helping clients feel looked after and ahead of the game.
You’ll help make sure the right content lands at the right time — and performs. Insight, structure, feedback, and growth will all sit with you.
If you’re analytical, organised, and love helping creative content perform, this one’s for you.
Contract:
- 6-month fixed-term contract
- Open to full-time or part-time (min. 3 days/week)
- Strong potential to go permanent
Salary:
£32,000–£35,000 pro-rata
Location:
- Bristol-based preferable
- Hybrid/remote options available with regular team contact
- Occasional travel for key shoots – sometimes overseas
What You’ll Do
Content insight & performance
- Track YouTube and social performance using tools like YouTube Studio, TubeBuddy, VidIQ, and native platform analytics
- Identify top-performing and underperforming content – and explain why
- Feed audience behaviour, content trends, and competitor insights into creative conversations
- Help inform decisions around formats, structure, upload cadence, and content types
Channel growth & engagement
- Help shape content strategy to drive subscribers, views, and watch time
- Influence titles, thumbnails, formats, and upload cadence
- Collaborate with creatives to turn insights into action
Project & team coordination
- Keep content pipelines moving smoothly with clear briefs and smart scheduling
- Ensure outputs land on time, on message, and on strategy
- Give constructive feedback that helps elevate content without slowing things down
- Travel to shoots as needed to help keep everything seamless on the ground
Client partnership
- Be the day-to-day point of contact for key clients
- Keep them looped in on progress, performance, and planning
- Help them feel confident, supported, and ahead of the curve – no surprises
Who You’ll Be Working With
You’ll sit at the centre of the action – working across:
- A creative team of editors and shooters who bring content to life
- The JMP leadership team, giving you direct access to strategy and decision-making
- High-profile clients, where performance and process really matter
- On-screen talent, influencers, and contributors involved in fast-moving productions
What You’ll Bring
- Experience managing YouTube/social-led content projects (agency or brand-side)
- Strong grasp of YouTube and Shorts analytics
- Confident communicator across creative and commercial contexts
- Organised, detail-focused, and proactive in solving problems
- Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and priorities
- Experience in client-facing roles with high standards
- Interest in using tools like AI to improve workflows or inspire creativity
- Awareness of platform trends, creative formats, and audience behaviour
What You’ll Get
- £32K–£35K pro-rata
- Flexibility: Full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days/week)
- Creative autonomy with the support of a close-knit team
- Fast-track potential to transition into a permanent role
- A clear impact on bold projects, high-growth clients, and ambitious channels
- A work culture where insight, delivery, and creativity are equally valued
