An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancer to join a rapidly growing department within a highly regarded and well-established Law firm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in residential conveyancing to manage a varied caseload consisting of sales, purchases and re-mortgages, along with new builds, transfers, freehold/leasehold and registered/unregistered titles. The successful candidate will run cases from quotation to post completion but will have support from a full time Conveyancing Assistant to ensure a high level of customer service is always maintained.

Duties:

  • Manage a varied caseload consisting of sales, purchases and re-mortgages, along with new builds, transfers, freehold/leasehold and registered/unregistered titles
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service
  • Handle matters involving trusts, attorneys, matrimonial aspects and estates
  • Work independently on post-completion tasks including Land Registry and SDLT requirements
  • Collaborate with clients, estate agents, and other solicitors to ensure smooth transactions
  • Offer technical guidance to team members when needed
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage complex matters such as shared ownership, lease extensions and new builds
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold internal quality standards
  • Actively participate in business development and maintain professional network

  • Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing

Qualifications:

  • Ideally qualified to CLC, CILEX or Solicitor level but not essential
  • Proven experience as a Conveyancer
