JML is a dynamic, multi-channel consumer products business with over 40 years of expertise in product innovation, brand development, and retail marketing. We bring our products to life through a powerful combination of in-store theatre, digital marketing, ecommerce, and strategic retail partnerships across the UK and internationally. Our continued growth is driven by data led decision making, strong customer relationships, and first-class customer service. As an industry leading multi-channel business our vision is simple: to have a JML product in every home.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this is a full-time role keeping JML's online channels running day to day. Our products are best known for launching through TV advertising and are sold direct to consumers, on Amazon and through retailers, with online sales through JMLdirect.com and Amazon central to how we trade, especially at peak. You will own product listings from launch to end of life, keep Amazon performance metrics healthy, and be the go-to person when an order, listing or delivery setting goes wrong.
You will be process-driven, highly organised and have an eye for detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills are also required for success in this role as you will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating, updating and optimising Amazon product listings (titles, bullets, A+ content, images, item highlights), prioritising TV-driven launches
- Resolving blocked or suppressed listings, including compliance and certification requests
- Managing shipping templates, handling times and Seller Fulfilled Prime settings, and keeping Account Health and dispatch KPIs in the green
- Working with our Amazon agency partner on deals (Prime Day, Black Friday), inventory reviews and monthly performance reports
- Setting up and maintaining products on JMLdirect.com (Magento now, Shopify Plus from January): copy, images, pricing, attributes, bundles and cart rules
- Maintaining delivery rules and shipping rate tables
- Briefing the creative team and copywriters on new product assets with at least two weeks' lead time
- Supporting the Shopify Plus migration: product data mapping, attribute clean-up, user acceptance testing and test orders
- Being the first point of contact for warehouse, logistics and customer service on listing and order problems across the website, Amazon and Linnworks
- Supporting listings and product content on other marketplaces and retailer partners’ websites
- Working with Product Development on launch timings, specs and product listings
- Pulling reports from Seller Central and the website, and flagging stock, pricing and performance issues
- Looking for ways to reduce manual work through automation and AI tools
EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing an Amazon Seller Central account and a strong eye for detail, with the confidence to take ownership of our online product listings quickly.
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate the following:
- At least 2 years' hands-on experience managing an Amazon Seller Central account (UK marketplace), including listings, catalogue issues and Account Health
- Working knowledge of Seller Fulfilled Prime or FBM: shipping templates, handling times and dispatch performance
- Experience setting up and maintaining products on a CMS, ideally Magento or Shopify (preferred): product and collection setup, metafields, shipping profiles, discounts and apps
- Confident with Excel or Google Sheets for data handling, bulk uploads, flat files and reports
- Strong attention to detail with product data, pricing and copy
- Calm and methodical under pressure, especially through Q4 peak trading
- A problem solver who digs into the root cause and explains it simply
- Plans ahead and briefs others early rather than working in firefighting mode
- Happy working independently while keeping the wider team informed
Desirable experience includes:
- Linnworks (or similar) order routing, inventory sync and channel integrations
- Microsoft Dynamics: ERP and CRM data management
- Magento 2 knowledge to support us until the January switchover to Shopify
- Experience of a CMS replatform or migration
- Basic HTML and image editing for listings
- Experience in optimising copy for SEO
- Interest in AI and automation tools to speed up eCommerce workflows
This is a great opportunity to take real ownership of JML's online listings across Amazon and our website, and to play a key part in our move to Shopify Plus.
