JML are seeking a Field Sales Executive with merchandising experience to cover our retail stores in Crawley, Croydon, Kingston, Sutton and surrounding areas. Ideally the successful applicant will live within an SM postcode or within reasonable travelling distance of these locations. The successful applicant will have previous retail and merchandising experience in a retail or similar role.
This is a key role whereby you will work within a team, visiting 5-6 retail stores per day, ensuring that our promotions are merchandised to a high standard, whilst also looking for opportunities to increase sales in stores. This is a field-based role where you need to be physically fit and enjoy driving extensively. You will also be customer focused, reliable, self-motivated, organised, and enthusiastic with good communication skills.
Core Principles of the field sales role:
- To make our in-store promotions as profitable as possible.
- Building relationships within stores.
- Product changeovers.
- Reverse logistics (major store group uplifts).
- New business store set-ups including installation of new promotional equipment.
Outline of the field sales rep’s duties:
- To be accountable for a set area of between 30-50 stores.
- Providing first-class customer service and support to each and every customer.
- Ensuring our products are merchandised to a high standard at the point of sale to ensure maximum sales exposure to maximise the impact of TV advertising.
