Working with a client who manufactures electrical products, this newly created role of Compliance Manager will be overseeing all aspects of product, factory, environmental, customer and business compliance to ensure the legislative requirements for the UK and EU are met. Objectives: Manage the UK compliance team effectively to ensure all product testing compliance obligations are being achieved. Manage the China-based auditing team proactively to ensure all factory, environmental, and customer compliance obligations are being achieved. Proactively communicate new legislative requirements to all relevant stakeholders and support the compliance team to effectively implement any necessary changes to processes or procedures. Represent the business at customer and supplier technical and product regulatory meetings Set and control departmental budgets and monitor output to ensure financial targets are achieved Key Responsibilities Ensure that every product meets all relevant (legislative, customer and internal) regulations and requirements and that internal systems, policies and technical files are maintained.
