We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Reservations Agent to join the team at the newly opened Aloft & Residence Inn by Marriott Belfast, located in the heart of the iconic Titanic Quarter.

As a Reservations Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our guests, helping create memorable experiences from the moment they make their booking.

The Role

As Reservations Agent, you will deliver an exceptional booking experience for every guest by handling reservations efficiently, providing expert knowledge of the hotel, and identifying opportunities to maximise revenue through upselling and personalised service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle reservations enquiries via telephone, email, and online booking channels in a professional and timely manner.
  • Process bookings accurately using the hotel's Property Management System (PMS).
  • Upsell room categories, packages, and hotel services to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Respond confidently to guest enquiries regarding rates, availability, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Work closely with Front Office, Revenue Management, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure booking accuracy and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage group reservations and maintain accurate rooming lists.
  • Monitor daily arrivals, cancellations, amendments, and no-shows.
  • Assist with reservation reporting, audits, and administration tasks.
  • Maintain full compliance with company procedures, GDPR requirements, and data protection standards.
  • Develop strong knowledge of both hotel brands, facilities, and local Belfast attractions to enhance the guest experience.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, has excellent communication skills, and thrives in a busy environment.

Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience as a Reservations Agent, Senior Front Office Associate within a hotel environment.
  • Experience within a Marriott or branded hotel environment is advantageous.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills with the confidence to identify upselling opportunities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Comfortable working with reservation systems and hotel technology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused during busy periods.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
