JMK Group is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Commercial Finance Manager to join our Group Finance team at our Head Office in Harrow, London. Working alongside another Commercial Finance Manager, this role will play a key part in supporting Group Finance leadership across development finance, treasury, commercial reporting, and project performance monitoring across our growing hospitality portfolio.

About the Role

You will take financial ownership of assigned development projects, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, effective cashflow management, and meaningful commercial insight to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development Finance & Project Reporting
    • Maintaining and updating development cost trackers across assigned projects
    • Managing development drawdowns and liaising with lenders and stakeholders
    • Monitoring project costs against approved budgets and highlighting variances
    • Leading weekly CapEx and development finance meetings
    • Preparing board-level reports and project progress updates
    • Producing management accounts for development entities
    • Supporting refinancing, funding applications, and lender reporting
    • Managing covenant compliance reporting and submissions
  • Treasury & Cash Management
    • Producing and maintaining Group cashflow reporting
    • Conducting daily and weekly bank reconciliations
    • Supporting treasury activities including intercompany transactions and cash allocation
  • Commercial Finance & Group Reporting
    • Carrying out Group sales reconciliations and variance analysis
    • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, development teams, and lenders
    • Providing commercial analysis and financial insight to senior leadership
    • Supporting ad hoc finance projects and strategic initiatives
  • Financial Control & Governance
    • Maintaining strong financial controls and reporting standards
    • Supporting continuous process improvement across finance operations
    • Monitoring and escalating project and cashflow risks where necessary

Skills & Experience Required

  • Qualified or part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in commercial finance, development finance, or project-based finance environments
  • Proven experience managing cashflow, cost tracking, and multi-entity reporting
  • Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and external partners
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
