Financial Controller in Belfast

JMK Group is thrilled to be launching two exceptional Marriott properties in Belfast — Aloft and Residence Inn, opening as a dual-site hotel in Q1 2026.

We are now recruiting a dynamic and commercially driven Financial Controller to join our team. This is a key leadership role, shaping the financial operations of both hotels from pre-opening through to full operation.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a major launch, set up financial systems from day one, and play a central role in the success of two new Marriott-branded hotels.

About the Role

• Lead all pre-opening finance preparation, including systems setup and Marriott onboarding
• Establish all financial controls, reporting structures, and SOPs
• Own the month-end process, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Support the General Manager and JMK Group with financial insights and decision-making
• Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, internal controls, and audit requirements
• Build a strong finance function to support both properties
• Partner with operations leaders to drive profitability and cost efficiency
• Play a strategic role during opening and post-opening stabilisation

Who We’re Looking For

• Experienced Hotel Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager
• Strong background in hospitality finance
• Knowledge of Marriott systems is a strong advantage
• Commercial, analytical, and highly organised
• Able to lead through pre-opening complexity
• Passionate about developing processes and high-performing teams
