Headquartered in Oxford with a line station from Biggin Hill Airport, we’re proud to support a wide range of private and corporate aviation clients across the UK and Europe. We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Aircraft Mechanic to join our business aviation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of various business aircraft, ensuring compliance with all aviation regulations and standards. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who excels in troubleshooting and problem-solving, with a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of safety and performance.
Your Role at JMI:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on business aircraft, including inspections, repairs, and modifications.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations, company policies, and manufacturer standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, ensuring documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on the latest industry developments, tools, and best practices to continuously improve service quality.
What You’ll Need:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
