Operating from our 18,000 sq. ft. hangar at Oxford Airport and our line station at London Biggin Hill, we deliver trusted maintenance solutions including base maintenance, line support, and mobile-response AOG services.

The Role: The Stores Trainee will report to the Stores Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the JMI aircraft parts stores in Oxford. The role involves delivering a secure, efficient, and reliable service to both internal colleagues and external customers. You will ensure that all aircraft parts are stored, handled, packed, and located correctly, maintaining the highest standards of aircraft safety. The Stores Trainee will be responsible for maintaining accurate manual and computerised records of all transactions, including parts inventory, transportation records, repair requisitions, delivery notes, airway bills, purchase orders, and export documentation. The role also includes preparing and coordinating the dispatch of components using appropriate and cost-effective transportation methods. Developing a thorough understanding of the handling, packing, and storage of dangerous and hazardous goods is essential for success in this position.

What You’ll Need:

  • Previous experience in a Stores or Warehouse environment would be advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain a clean and orderly working environment at all times
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
