Premier Insurance is an independent general insurance broker based in Consett, County Durham. We specialise in a wide range of both Personal Insurance and Business Insurance products for our clients of all ages. With over 20 years of experience and now part of the wider JMG Group, we proudly provide the most comprehensive and competitive insurance policies on the market for everyone living in the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for two additional Insurance Brokers to join the team.
The Opportunity
Working as an Insurance Broker, you will be required to maximise sales performance by way of converting enquiries into live policies, and you will maximise customer retention and all revenue opportunities whilst providing effective customer service by handling calls, providing quotations, closing sales, and facilitating customer enquiries; both on the phone and those who customers that call into the office.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
To be considered for this position you must possess the following:
- Previous senior insurance sales experience
- Personal lines experience is preferred
- Able to build and maintain good working relationships
- Knowledge of insurance products and principles
- Proven track record of sales success within a customer service focused environment
- Ability to multi-task and handle large caseloads
- .T. skills including use of an insurance IT system, ideally SSP or Acturis.
- Strong organisation skills.
- The ability to work to a high level of accuracy.
- Exemplary customer service skills with the ability to build solid relationships with clients and insurers.
- Willingness to work towards Cert CII or already hold qualifications.
