Our client is a well-established Accountancy Practice based near Sidcup in North Kent. Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Accounts Trainee / Junior Accountant with one to two years experience working in an Accountancy firm to join their growing team. You will be gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment, working closely with Senior Accountants.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting with bookkeeping, data entry, and bank reconciliations
  • Preparing and filing VAT returns
  • Helping prepare management and financial accounts
  • Liaising with clients via phone and email
  • General administrative support within the accounts team

Requirements

  • Eager and committed to pursuing a career in accountancy and finance
  • Confident communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • Experience using accounting software, ideally QuickBooks or Xero
