Due to expansion, an experienced Practice Trained Senior Accountant is sought by a well-established firm Accountants based near the Kent/Southeast London border.
You will be responsible for your portfolio of clients and have proven experience working in a similar role.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant
- Preparation of limited company, partnership, and sole trader accounts
- Tax computations
- Training/supervising junior members of staff
- Preparation of Management Accounts / Year-End accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Liaison with HMRC.
Requirements of the Senior Accountant
- Qualified or Qualified by Experience with a strong track record working for an Accountancy Practice
- Exposure to either Xero, Sage Line 50 or Quick Books is desirable, but possessing good MS Excel skills is essential
- First-rate interpersonal/communication skills.
