If this sounds like you, then JMF Associates is partnering with a well-regarded firm, based in the Bromley area, that is looking for a Junior Payroll Assistant to join them permanently.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working in a small yet supportive payroll team the Junior Payroll Assistant will: Trainand assistwith multi-company/country payroll operations on Sage payroll software Carry out general payroll duties both independently and under the supervision of the Payroll Manager or the Senior Payroll Administrator when the Payroll Manager is absent Train and keep up to date with statutory requirements of matters relating to the administration of a PAYE scheme Assist and calculate multi-pay frequency payrolls from start to finish, including any pay variables.

Access the HMRC portal and download/implement new tax codings Assist the payroll team in providing monthly tax and NI payments and payroll reports to clients or accountants, whichever is appropriate This role would suit someone with excellent A-Level and GCSE results with a keen interest in buidling a career in finance.
