JMF Associates has been approached by a Private Equity firm who are looking to establish a Chartered Accountancy Practice to complement its portfolio of businesses and attract new clients. The first hire for this new firm is for a Managing Partner. As the Managing Partner, you will have responsibility for the firm's performance and strategic development. Working closely with the client base and Private Equity backers, you will balance high-level leadership with hands-on involvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting and delivering the firm's strategic and growth plans
  • Developing the firm's client base
  • Driving profitability, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth
  • Overseeing client relationships and maintaining exceptional service standards
  • Hiring, mentoring, and developing staff
  • Identifying and executing business development and expansion opportunities
  • Ensuring strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
  • Championing a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture

This role would suit a highly credible accountancy professional with proven leadership experience in practice.

You will ideally have:

  • ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification with a Practicing certificate
  • Significant experience at a manager level within an accountancy practice but equally happy to be hands-on in producing accounts
  • Excellent client-facing and relationship management skills
  • A strategic mindset combined with practical decision-making

In return, our client will offer a strong salary package that could include equity or profit-share.
