JMF have secured an amazing opportunity to join a well-established food service and distribution group based in Kent. This senior role involves working closely with the Board to develop strategy and long-term plans, while also representing the Shareholders' interests.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the finance and wider admin teams
- Producing management reports and KPI data
- Overseeing cash and bank facilities
- Managing UK and overseas tax, VAT, and duty to ensure compliance
- Handling the annual audit and ensuring accounts meet UK GAAP standards
- Managing foreign exchange and treasury
- Building strong relationships with banks, shareholders, and financial partners
- Leading the budgeting process and preparing quarterly rolling budgets
- Implementing and maintaining costing and contract systems
- Managing insurance and risk management
- Supervising stock holdings, HR compliance, and the company pension scheme
- Overseeing IT systems and internal health and safety measures
Requirements of the Financial Controller Role:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified with 10 years PQE
- Proven track record in a senior leadership role
