An established Legal Firm based in the City of London is seeking a Legal Cashier to work part-time, 21 hours a week, on a fixed-term nine-month contract.

The opportunity offers hybrid working: two days office-based and one day working from home.

You will be accountable for the smooth and compliant operation of the client-side accounts department, covering all aspects of processing and administration.

Key duties included: Process client account transactions in line with SRA Accounts Rules, including CHAPS, BACS Setting up payments from the client accounts Posting of client disbursement invoices, including HMCTS, HM Land Registry Managing daily client to office transfers Daily and monthly bank reconciliations identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly Raising invoices and credit notes, ensuring accurate and timely processing and reviewing client files on closure to ensure accurate client settlements You will be liaising with fee earners and partners, and legal assistants to support smooth day-to-day operations.
