Exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled e-commerce group at a time of growth and development. Reporting to the Head of Finance working in a small highly skilled team. Duties will include:-
Responsibility of the Assistant Accountant Role-
- Assist the Head of Finance with the month end close
- Work closely with accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Balance sheet review and reconciliation
- Assist with the monthly management accounts
- Assist with the year end
- Quarterly VAT returns
Requirement of the Assistant Accountant Role:-
- Ideally studying towards ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Strong Excel and systems skills
- Good training and grounding in double entry bookkeeping
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Articulate and confident
- Perfect role for someone making a first move from practice
