A highly successful SME business with a turnover over £25m and offices in Hampshire is looking to hire an ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Group Financial Controller to join them on an initial 12-month fixed term contract. This role offers hybrid working 3 days per week in the office. Reporting to the Managing Director the Group Financial Controller will: Duties of the Group Financial Controller Role: Oversee the full management of the finance team but in particular mentor and develop x2 Finance Managers Lead of a Financial systems upgrade project Streamlining systems and procedures Financial reporting and drilling down into profitability, budgeting and forecasting Prepare and review detailed management accounts and reporting to the Directors Monthly review and reconciliation of the balance sheet Detailed debtor reporting and cashflow analysis Requirements of the Group Financial Controller Role: ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified Accountant Experience working with an SME with turnover in excess of £30m Prior experience in systems upgrades/implementations Strong Excel skills Ability to mentor staff and develop staff Strong commercial acumen Benefits of the Group Financial Controller: Hybrid – 2days WFH Pension 25 days annual leave – plus bank holidays If this seems like an interesting opportunity for you then please apply or contact us for a confidential conversation.
