Job Description
Amazing opportunity to join a retail group at a time of transformation for a period of 12 months. Manage, motivate and develop the finance team. Reporting to the CFO this role is 4 days in the office in Surrey and one day working from home.
Responsibilities of the Group Financial Controller Role:
- To manage, motivate and develop a dynamic highly skilled team
- Review and improve processes and procedures to streamline the month end close
- Review and improve balance sheet controls
- Cashflow management and control
- Project manage the implementation of a new ERP system across the group
- Year end statutory accounts, liaise with HMRC and resolve any queries
- VAT and corporate tax
Requirements of the Financial Controller Role:-
- Proven track record in managing and mentoring a team
- ERP systems implementation experience in a multi site group
- A qualified accountant with a minimum of 10 years PQE ideally from a multi site group
- Excellent communication skills
