An established online retailer based in Central London is now looking for a highly experienced Financial Controller to join the team. This is the number one role in finance, reporting directly to the MD with a dotted line to the Operations Director. Office-based 5 days a week.
Responsibility of the Financial Controller Role:
- Oversee the accounting function and manage a small, highly dedicated team of 3
- Monitor cash flow closely and produce reports for the Senior Management Team
- Oversee the sales and purchase ledger, month-end, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including income analysis, sales and group reporting
- Prepare budgets and liaise with stakeholders
- Manage year-end, liaise with auditors and ensure compliance
- Oversee stock and work with the MD on projects
Requirements of the Financial Controller Role:
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualified
- Experienced Financial Controller
- Strong staff management
- First rate financial and management accounts skills
- Excellent communication
