Further to a period of growth, our client, an investment management business, is recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant. You will be part of the Finance Team supporting two entities within the Group. Their luxury offices are within easy walking distance of Victoria Station in Central London. This is an office-based opportunity, 08.45 to 17.45, that offers excellent benefits.
Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant:
- Booking and recording daily transactions into the accounting ledger
- Reconciling bank accounts and statements at the end of each month
- Managing the accounts payable and receivable reporting, ensuring invoices are accurately recorded, and payments are made in a timely fashion
- Preparing invoices
- Liaising with the team to calculate the quarterly intercompany charges
- Reconciling intercompany positions for both of the group entities
- Managing the expense reporting process
- Assist with the month and year-end accounts
Requirements for the Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant role:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- First-rate transactional skills coupled with bank reconciliations
- Experience of assisting with the month & year end accounts
- Very good MS Excel skills and ideally exposure to the Business Central (Navision Accounting) system
