A well established, highly professional Accountancy firm are now looking for an ACCA qualified/finalist with ideally 2 years experience in practice to join an expanding, dynamic team. This role is office-based 5 days a week and reports to the Senior Manager.
Responsibilities of the Semi-Senior/Trainee:
- All aspects of bookkeeping, including preparing month-end accounts
- Assist with audits from preparation to completion
- Assist with tax filings both corporation and personal
- Monthly VAT returns
- Statutory filings
Requirements of the Semi-Senior/Trainee:
- A minimum of two years experience in practice
- First-rate interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of accounts preparation and tax
- Excellent systems skills including Excel
- In-depth local knowledge of the area near the client's South Wales office is an absolute must and a key factor in recruiting the ideal candidate. The successful applicant will have lived in the vicinity for at least 10 years.
