A prestigious Chartered Accountants firm is seeking a permanent Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team in South East London. This role will involve working closely with partners and managers to deliver high-quality statutory audit and accounts preparation services.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring audit/accounts trainees while ensuring that all assignments are planned and executed proficiently.
- Proven experience in private company audits, including planning and executing onsite audits
- Extensive knowledge of current auditing standards, analytical reviews, and sampling techniques
- Significant experience in preparing statutory company accounts under UK GAAP, including those for charities
- ACA/ACCA qualified or Finalist is essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills with an adaptable and positive attitude
- Professionalism and courtesy in client interactions
