Role Purpose: General warehousing duties to include: 🔹 Picking 🔹 Packing 🔹 Goods-in 🔹 Goods-out and dispatch 🔹 Stock taking Job Context and Dimensions: ✔ To accurately put away, pick and pack liquid nitrogen stored genetic assets for Export to EU and Non-EU countries to customer country packing requirements, in a timely manner. ✔ To accurately put away, pick and pack liquid nitrogen stored genetic assets for company sites in the UK against a strict distribution deadline. What our client can offer: ⏰ 36 hours per week – Weeks 1 to 3 within a working month: Worked over Monday to Thursday – Starting work at 7am and ending at 4.30pm (30 minutes paid lunch break on the 4 full days). ⏰ 40 hours per week – Week 4 within a working month: Worked over Monday to Friday. Monday to Thursday: Starting work at 7am and ending at 4.30pm. Friday: Starting at 8am and ending at 12 noon. 30 minutes paid lunch break on the 4 full days. Overtime is available from time to time, at time and a half Monday to Friday and double time on weekends. 🛑 Due to our clients’ responsibilities as a “Known Consignor” in airfreight, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a 5-year employment check (with any gaps in employment supported) together with a DBS check. This job role involves working with liquid nitrogen (which is a hazardous substance, full PPE provided, and training given).
