JM&Co. Recruitment is proud to be the sole recruitment partner for a well-established, independent producer of natural pet feed and bedding. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Production Supervisor to join their team, working across both the warehouse and production environments.
- Location: Rural setting – own transport essential
- Wage: From c. £14.00 per hour, with flexibility up to c. £20.00 p/h for candidates with relevant supervisory and Health & Safety experience.
- Annual Salary: Up to £37,440 per annum (DOE - based on £20 p/h)
- Hours: Monday–Thursday, 36 hours per week

Warehouse Operative / Production Supervisor – Key Responsibilities
- Working within a mechanised production environment using natural materials
- Operating and monitoring machinery, identifying changes in performance or behaviour
- Packing, palletising, wrapping, and preparing goods for distribution
- Loading and unloading vehicles and moving stock using a forklift
- Supporting production planning and day-to-day warehouse organisation
- Taking ownership of Health & Safety standards and best working practices
- Assisting with machinery checks and maintenance, with training provided where required
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Warehouse or factory experience
- Experience within a production or manufacturing environment
- Forklift (Counterbalance) licence is essential
- Strong common sense, awareness, and a calm, practical approach
- Health & Safety awareness and or training experience would be highly beneficial
- Warehouse supervision, planning, or team leadership experience would be an advantage
This role would suit someone who enjoys responsibility, takes pride in doing things properly, and is comfortable getting involved wherever needed.
