Our client is seeking a *** Warehouse Operative *** to join their growing operations team based in Silverstone.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation and teamwork.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched efficiently while helping to maintain a safe, organised and productive warehouse.
Warehouse Operative - Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for dispatch in line with required deadlines.
- Load and unload deliveries.
- Receive, inspect and store incoming stock and customer returns.
- Carry out stock counts and support inventory management activities.
- Label and package products to a consistently high standard.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment.
- Organise and move stock throughout the warehouse as required.
- Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods or other issues to management.
- Support the wider operations team during busy periods.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies

The ideal candidate will have
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Forklift Truck (FLT) experience (ideally counterbalance and stacker).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable, punctual and hard-working approach.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- A good level of computer ability is required to use bespoke systems, the use of MS Office would be advantageous.
