Our client is seeking a *** Warehouse Operative *** to join their growing operations team based in Silverstone.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation and teamwork.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched efficiently while helping to maintain a safe, organised and productive warehouse.

Warehouse Operative - Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare orders for dispatch in line with required deadlines.
  • Load and unload deliveries.
  • Receive, inspect and store incoming stock and customer returns.
  • Carry out stock counts and support inventory management activities.
  • Label and package products to a consistently high standard.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment.
  • Organise and move stock throughout the warehouse as required.
  • Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods or other issues to management.
  • Support the wider operations team during busy periods.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies

The ideal candidate will have

  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Forklift Truck (FLT) experience (ideally counterbalance and stacker).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A reliable, punctual and hard-working approach.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A good level of computer ability is required to use bespoke systems, the use of MS Office would be advantageous.
