Our client is a successful, design-led manufacturing business experiencing continued growth in international markets. They are now seeking a Sales Coordinator to support and develop sales operations across the UK and German export markets. This is a pivotal role acting as the coordination hub between customers, distributors, internal teams, and overseas partners, ensuring a seamless sales and order management process from enquiry through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities within the Sales Coordinator Role:
- Coordinating and processing sales orders using Microsoft Business Central ERP.
- Acting as a key liaison between the UK and German markets, supporting distributors and customers.
- Communicating confidently in English and German (French language skills highly advantageous).
- Managing order progression into production and keeping customers informed of timelines and delivery schedules.
- Coordinating UK and international logistics, including export documentation (Certificates of Origin, Bills of Lading, etc.).
- Providing professional office-based sales and customer support to international clients.
- Preparing invoices, credit notes, and supporting the finance team as required.
- Booking freight and transport for domestic and overseas deliveries.
- Working closely with internal project, production, and operations teams to ensure accurate order fulfilment.
- Supporting export market growth, with potential for occasional travel in the future.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a sales coordination, sales administration, or export-focused role.
- Fluent in English and German (spoken and written); French is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of export processes, logistics, and international customer coordination.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence dealing with international stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Business Central ERP is highly desirable.
