About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Interim Regional Finance Director to join our client’s leadership team for a 6-month assignment. This pivotal role will support the Group CFO during a period of transformation, bringing commercial insight and strong leadership to the finance function.
You will be responsible for driving operational and financial improvements, supporting business transformation initiatives, and ensuring robust financial reporting and business partnering across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Regional CFO and Global CFO to deliver on key transformation projects.
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, ensuring clear objectives and strong performance management.
- Oversee multi-site financial reporting, including UK and EU entities.
- Provide commercial finance insight, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling to support business decision-making.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
- Act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership, offering challenge and support.
- Manage change programmes, embedding new processes and ways of working across the finance team.
Key Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) — QBE candidates with strong relevant experience also considered.
- Proven track record in senior financial leadership roles, ideally within complex, multi-site or international environments.
- Strong experience in commercial finance, transformation, and employee management.
- Excellent technical reporting skills with UK / EU reporting knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively and deliver improvements under time-bound conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and business partnering skills, able to influence at Board and senior leadership levels.
- Flexibility to work in the Banbury office 3 days per week, with home working on Mondays and Fridays.
