You will receive structured training across processes including soldering, crimping, wiring, testing and potting.

This Production Technician opportunity offers:

  • Permanent employment and a 35-hour working week
  • A 4.00pm finish Monday to Thursday and a 1.00pm finish every Friday
  • Varied work rather than repetitive production-line duties
  • Ongoing training, up-skilling and internal progression

  • Christmas break from 23rd December to New Year

The Production Technician Role

You will assemble specialist sensors and electronic products from component preparation through to final testing and completion. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assembling sensors and electronic components
  • Fine soldering, crimping and cable preparation
  • Applying heat shrink, potting compounds and protective coatings
  • Using hand tools, test equipment and production machinery
  • Following assembly drawings, wiring instructions and work instructions
