What You'll Be Doing
- You will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of residential work while operating within a cohesive property group known for reliability, clear communication and well-structured processes.
- Running freehold and leasehold sales and purchases with autonomy, from initial instruction through to completion.
- Handling remortgages, transfers of equity and investment/buy-to-let transactions for a broad client base.
- Investigating and reporting on title, including covenants, easements, boundaries and other issues requiring practical, solution-focused advice.
- Using an efficient case management system to maintain accuracy, progression and regulatory compliance.
- Working alongside specialist leasehold colleagues on enfranchisement, lease extensions and reform-related matters as appropriate.
- Maintaining open communication with clients, agents, lenders and other advisers to ensure momentum throughout the transaction.
- Upholding strong risk management and due diligence standards in line with the firm's accredited conveyancing framework.
- Contributing to the team's reputation for responsiveness, clarity and reliable client care.
About You
- You will be a capable residential property solicitor who combines solid technical knowledge with a calm, client-focused approach.
- 2+ years' PQE (or equivalent experience) within residential conveyancing.
- Confident managing your own mixed caseload, with appropriate support available.
- Organised, proactive and able to keep multiple files moving without compromising attention to detail.
- Strong communicator, able to explain issues clearly and guide clients through each stage of the process.
- Comfortable with modern IT systems, online platforms and case management tools.
- Interested in expanding your exposure to more complex titles, investment work or specialist leasehold matters as part of your development.
- Collaborative, approachable and positive in your engagement with colleagues, clients and referrers.
