The Role:

As a Senior Associate in the thriving Private Client team , you\’ll handle a varied and high-quality caseload, including wills, trusts, probate, lasting powers of attorney, and estate planning. You will have the chance to engage with a wide range of clients, from individuals and families to high-net-worth individuals, benefiting from both existing client relationships and the high volume of new enquiries the firm attracts.

In addition to managing your caseload, you\’ll play a key role in mentoring junior fee earners, contributing to their development and the overall success of the team. This position offers a clear pathway for growth, with leadership and partnership opportunities available as the department continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a broad caseload of private client matters, including complex wills, probate, and estate planning
  • Building strong relationships with both existing clients and new enquiries to grow the department further
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives to attract and retain clients
  • Playing a key role in achieving the firm\’s ambitious growth objectives over the next five years
  • Requirements:

  • 5+ years PQE in private client law, with experience managing a diverse caseload
  • Strong technical knowledge in wills, trusts, probate, and inheritance tax planning
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities
  • Excellent interpersonal and client care skills, with a proactive approach to relationship management
  • Experience mentoring junior team members is highly desirable
