Job Description

Residential Property Solicitor | 2+ PQE | Brighton

This is a chance to join a long-established regional firm where residential conveyancing is done properly. The work is steady, the clients are loyal and the property team has earned a strong reputation not just for core transactions, but for its growing expertise in more technical leasehold matters too.

The Role

You’ll run your own mixed caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, alongside remortgages, transfers of equity and investment work. You’ll be trusted to manage matters from instruction through to completion, with clear systems, strong support and experienced colleagues around you.

There’s also real scope to broaden your experience. You’ll work alongside specialists on lease extensions and enfranchisement where appropriate, giving you exposure to more complex titles and higher-value work as you develop.

About You

  • 2+ years’ PQE in residential conveyancing
  • Confident managing your own files with a calm, client-focused approach
  • Organised, detail-driven and comfortable juggling multiple matters
  • A clear communicator who enjoys guiding clients through the process
  • Interested in developing beyond straightforward conveyancing over time

Why Join

  • A respected regional firm with deep roots in Sussex
  • A reliable flow of quality residential work
  • Growing specialist leasehold capability to learn from
  • Supportive partners, well-run systems and genuine collaboration
  • Competitive benefits, hybrid working and a positive team culture
