A leading, award-winning Top 200 law firm with offices across the South East is seeking a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer (1-3 years PQE) to join its well-regarded Real Estate team based in Brighton. This dynamic and forward-thinking firm has experienced significant growth in recent years and is known for its supportive culture, entrepreneurial mindset, and clear progression pathways. With over 50 Partners and 150+ fee earners, the firm offers city-quality work in a regional setting.

The successful candidate will work closely with a Partner on a busy caseload of residential property matters, with a particular focus on the retirement living sector. The work is varied and fast-paced, often involving clients who are both selling their existing homes and purchasing new retirement properties, with the firm instructed on both transactions.

  • Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion
  • Handling sales and purchases (freehold and leasehold), remortgages, lease extensions, and transfers of equity
  • Maintaining excellent client care, particularly with elderly clients, where strong communication and telephone skills are essential
  • Supporting more complex matters under Partner supervision

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with 1-3 years' PQE
  • Experience in residential property law, including landlord and tenant matters
  • Strong communication, time management and client care skills
  • Confident using IT systems such as Outlook, Word, Excel and case management software
  • A team player with a commercial mindset and attention to detail
