A leading national law firm is seeking an ambitious Real Estate Solicitor with a passion for renewable energy to join its highly regarded Legal 500-ranked Real Estate Future Energy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Solicitor with experience in real estate and an interest in the renewable energy sector to join one of the most forward-thinking and supportive firms in the legal industry.
While the position is based in Bristol, the firm is open to hearing from candidates located in other offices, including Manchester, Birmingham, Belfast, Glasgow, or Edinburgh.

The Role
The successful candidate will join a highly-rated team focused on renewable energy real estate work, including projects in solar, wind, hydro, biomass, and battery storage. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and negotiating leases, options, securities, and servitudes for clean energy projects.
- Undertaking due diligence, reviewing titles, inquiries, and searches.
- Collaborating with colleagues across corporate, banking, construction, planning, and regulatory teams to support large-scale acquisitions and financing of clean energy projects.
- Taking on client-facing responsibilities, running your own files, and managing transaction delivery.
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members.
- Building and maintaining client relationships, while spotting opportunities for business development.
- Contributing to the firm\’s goal of achieving targets and providing high-quality service to clients.

The Ideal Candidate
- A qualified Solicitor (England & Wales SRA) with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience in Real Estate law, ideally with some exposure to the renewable energy sector.

- A proactive, innovative mindset with the ability to handle complex and varied workloads.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to advise clients at all levels.
- A team player who enjoys collaborating and mentoring junior colleagues.
