The Role

This role is about being at the forefront of land and property deals that enable the transition to renewable energy and large-scale infrastructure projects. You will be working with an impressive client base, including major energy providers, global investors and developers, giving you exposure to complex, high-value work that few firms in Scotland can match. From day one, you will be trusted with real responsibility, managing your own matters, guiding junior colleagues, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the team. The role also provides the chance to develop your profile in the market, supporting business development initiatives and engaging directly with clients at a strategic level. The Work
- Advising on major land acquisitions and disposals for large-scale energy developments
- Leading Real Estate aspects of onshore/offshore wind, solar, hydro, nuclear and carbon capture projects
- Supporting infrastructure clients on roads, rail and water developments
- Drafting and negotiating leases, development agreements and finance documentation
- Guiding clients through strategic land transactions to unlock next-generation projects
- Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their technical development
- Working collaboratively with partners and other departments on complex, cross-practice projects

Your Experience
- 3-6 years’ PQE with strong Real Estate experience (Energy & Infrastructure focus is essential)
