The Role

The firm are looking for a Property Litigation Partner to join their Tiered department in the Manchester office.

You will work closely with the other Partners within the Real Estate department where the Property Litigation team sits, and more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.

You will be working on a varied and interesting caseload covering complex property litigation matters. This will include easements, restrictive covenants, contractual disputes and insolvency related property disputes.

The clients are high profile ranging from retailers and development companies to individuals and commercial property investors.

You will mentor and oversee the work of junior Lawyers and help them to progress in their careers. This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda.

Requirements

  • You will be a Property Litigation Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience and applications are invited from even the most experienced candidates)
  • You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skills
  • You will have good experience of dealing with large settlements
  • You will have strong business development capabilities
  • Experience of overseeing a team is desirable, however not essential
  • Remuneration

  • Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and bonus scheme
