Private Client Solicitor | 2+ PQE | Bury St Edmunds
A great chance to join a long-established regional firm with one of the most respected Private Client practices across East Anglia. This is an important hire into a highly regarded team known for complex estates, trusts and tax planning, vulnerable client work and genuinely careful client service.
What You\’ll Be Doing
You\’ll handle a well-rounded and often technical private wealth caseload, with the freedom to work independently while still being supported by experienced colleagues across multiple offices.
- Estate administration, including taxable and high-value estates
- Wills, succession planning and lifetime tax advice
- Drafting deeds of variation and related planning documents
- Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work
- Exposure to vulnerable client matters, elderly client law and care funding
- Building strong client relationships and offering calm, practical guidance
- Supporting team and department growth as experience develops
About You
- 2+ PQE in private client work with solid experience in wills and estate administration
- Strong communicator with a reassuring, client-focused approach
- Able to manage files with increasing independence
- Experience with vulnerable or elderly clients is highly valued
- STEP qualified, working towards it, or keen to pursue accreditation
