The Role

You will join a Tier 1 ranked Projects team, working at the forefront of the UK's nuclear sector. From day one, you will take ownership of high-profile projects, collaborating with market-leading experts on matters such as GW-scale nuclear new build, the development of small and advanced modular reactors (SMRs and AMRs), the UK's first deep geological disposal facility, and pioneering commercial fusion projects. The work is varied and impactful, spanning the full project lifecycle—from site acquisition and planning through to construction, operation, and decommissioning. You will advise a prestigious client base, including government bodies, regulators, operators, developers, and international businesses, on complex regulatory, commercial, and environmental matters. The firm's deep understanding of UK and international nuclear law, combined with active participation in key industry associations, ensures you are always at the cutting edge of sector developments. Opportunities also extend to innovative areas such as nuclear-propelled ships and next-generation fusion energy, placing you at the heart of the energy transition.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years' PQE in energy projects, with a keen interest in nuclear law and infrastructure
  • Commercially astute, with strong technical knowledge and a proactive approach
  • Able to manage a varied caseload and work effectively with a range of clients
  • A collaborative team player, keen to support and mentor junior colleagues
  • Committed to continuous professional development and staying ahead of market trends
