The RoleThe firm is seeking a Construction Associate to join its NonāContentious Construction team in Manchester, offering a retraining opportunity for NQ to midālevel solicitors. This role is designed to support lawyers who have not yet practised construction law but are keen to build a longāterm career in this area.
The Construction team is highly ranked in the Legal 500 and advises on a Õ¬Õ„Õ¦ wide range of major energy and infrastructure projects. Clients include FTSE 100 companies, international developers and major players across the energy, transport, infrastructure and realāestate sectors.ą“æą“p>
You will work on a diverse range of nonācontentious matters, including renewable energy developments, conventional power generation, public infrastructure projects and largeāscale offshore wind developments.
You will receive close support and mentoring from leading partners, alongside clear progression opportunities ĆÆtoward Senior Associate and, in time, partnership.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be an NQ to 5 years PQE solicitor with experience advising commercial clients in areas such as real estate, banking, commercial contracts or corporate.
You will have either some exposure to construction law or a clear and demonstrable interest in moving into this practice area.
You will be motivated, commercially minded and keen to develop specialist expertise within a leading international firm.
