The Role:
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor to join this prestigious law firm’s team in London.
You will focus on non-contentious construction matters from a real estate perspective, working with a cliental of developers, investors and other key stakeholders in the sector.
Working alongside two highly rated, top-tier Partners in a collaborative setting, who specialise in non-contentious construction work. Together, you will be part of a team that thrives on client relationships, excellence in legal practice and a forward-thinking approach to construction law.
Your work will span from advising on pre-construction and procurement strategies to assisting with the drafting and negotiation of construction documents. You will also support the resolution of issues and disputes across a range of commercial, residential and mixed-use projects.
Your duties will include:
- Drafting and negotiating a variety of construction documentation, including development agreements, consultant appointments, building contracts, letters of intent, warranties and more.
- Providing legal advice across the lifecycle of real estate projects, from the initial stages to completion.
- Action complex instructions directly and effectively manage relationships with clients
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified solicitor with 2-6 years of PQE in non-contentious construction law (preferably with experience from a top-tier real estate or construction law firm).
- Strong technical skills in non-contentious construction matters and a solid understanding of the UK real estate sector.
- An excellent communicator with strong client relationship-building abilities.
- A proactive approach to business development and a desire to contribute to the growth of the department.
- Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision and take on a high degree of responsibility.
