The Role
A Top 50 UK firm is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join their award-winning Construction team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on top-tier construction matters, including contract renewals and major renewable energy projects, while learning from experienced Partners and boosting your career to the next level.
Alongside this, you will advise clients on complex and high-profile projects, spanning infrastructure developments, redevelopments, and large-scale renewable energy schemes. The role offers exposure to wind, solar, green hydrogen, geothermal, biomass, and other cutting-edge energy projects, that help to shape the future of the UK's energy landscape.
The Work
- Advise clients on a wide range of construction matters across commercial and renewable energy projects
- Draft, negotiate and manage complex contracts for large-scale developments
- Work closely with senior partners and multi-disciplinary teams on high-value, strategic projects
- Support high-profile clients including FTSE 100 firms, major public bodies, and international organisations
- Manage a varied caseload and take ownership of client relationships
- Mentor and support junior colleagues, contributing to their professional development
- Keep up to date with legislative, regulatory and market developments affecting construction law
- Assist with business development initiatives and client growth strategies
Your Experience
- 5+ years PQE as a Non-Contentious Construction Lawyer
- Strong experience managing complex construction matters
- Knowledge of the current UK construction law landscape and commercial awareness
- Excellent client care, drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and work collaboratively with colleagues
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members
