Due to growth, a new vacancy has arisen for a Banking Solicitor (6-8 PQE) focusing on non-contentious matters to join the West End office of this Legal 500 firm.

The Role
This Legal 500 firm is looking for a Banking Solicitor (6-8 PQE) focusing on non-contentious matters to join their professional and friendly team at their office in the West End. The non-contentious Banking team specialises in large, complex residential developments, acting for both lenders and developers along with general banking and finance matters. The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced team, handling a range of high-value and intricate transactions. The team’s expertise includes:
- Advising lenders on traditional bi-lateral facilities, security issues, and insolvency matters.
- Creating and implementing alternative funding schemes for developer and lender clients.
- Handling conventional senior and mezzanine lending as well as other funding structures, including loan notes and offshore deep discount bonds.
- Working alongside the dispute resolution and banking litigation teams on insolvency-related matters, lender exit strategies, and non-performing loans.
- Advising funds on commercial investment property acquisitions and disposals across various real estate asset classes.
The team is professional, friendly, and supportive, with strong business generators at the helm. Due to ongoing growth, this is an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in non-contentious banking matters while working closely with industry leaders.
Requirements:
- You will be a Banking Solicitor with 6-8 years PQE.
