About the Team The Real Estate Investments team is recognised as one of the leading specialist practices in the UK, advising on private equity real estate, corporate real estate transactions, indirect real estate investments, real estate-backed joint ventures and complex ownership structures.

The team acts for an impressive range of domestic and international clients, including private equity real estate funds, institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, pension funds, REITs, developers and financial institutions.

Its work spans acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, restructurings, investment platforms and strategic asset management across a broad range of real estate sectors.

Working closely with colleagues across Real Estate, Corporate, Tax, Finance and other specialist teams, the practice provides commercially focused advice on some of the most significant and innovative real estate transactions in the market.

The Role This opportunity is ideal for a Real Estate Solicitor with at least 6 years' PQE who has developed strong experience within a Private Equity Real Estate, Corporate Real Estate, Real Estate Investments or Real Estate M&A practice and is ready to take a leading role on complex matters.

Working closely with leading Partners, you will take significant responsibility for the day-to-day management of sophisticated transactions, acting as a senior point of contact for major clients and helping to drive the continued growth of the practice.

Your work will include: Leading and supervising complex corporate M&A transactions in the real estate sector, including cross-border and portfolio transactions.

Advising on the structuring, establishment, operation, restructuring and exit of joint ventures and indirect real estate investment structures, including corporates, partnerships and JPUTs.

Acting for private equity real estate managers, institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, REITs and developers on high-value transactions.

Advising on complex acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, refinancings, exits and asset or portfolio management matters.

Drafting and negotiating share sale and purchase agreements, joint venture agreements and related transaction documentation.

Taking day-to-day responsibility for complex matters, managing workstreams, timetables, conditions precedent and multidisciplinary teams.

Building trusted client relationships and contributing to pitches, business development initiatives, thought leadership and client programmes.

Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and trainees, supporting their technical and commercial development.

Requirements Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 6+ years' PQE and strong Private Equity Real Estate, Corporate Real Estate, Real Estate Investments or Real Estate M&A experience.

Strong technical experience across complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, JVs and indirect investment structures, with excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

Commercially minded with strong client relationship and business development skills, able to understand clients' investment strategies and wider commercial objectives.

Collaborative and organised, with the confidence to take ownership of complex matters, supervise junior lawyers and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
