The Firm is a highly regarded Legal 500, Spears and Chambers ranked law firm based in central London with an esteemed reputation for its expertise in Real Estate, Private Client, Dispute Resolution, Construction and many others. Handling highâprofile deals such as multimillionâpound UK let industrial platform and Central London property acquisitions for major commercial names. They deal with the same quality of work as much larger City firms without all the disadvantages associated with being a small cog in a big machine. Lawyers of all levels can get involved with business development, and it is common for fee earners at this firm to gain such a level of exposure they gain experience beyond their years of PQE.

There is a good workâlife balance with flexibility and only 1300 chargeable hours targets, with hybrid working 2â3 days in the office per week. The Role offers a broad and highâquality workload, with a particular focus on asset management and investment transactions. You will advise on a wide range of matters including asset management, sales and acquisitions, lettings (including conditional agreements for lease, with and without works) and real estate finance. The team acts for institutional and sophisticated clients across logistics and industrial platforms, offices, hotels and City livery companies, handling both transactional and complex asset management work. This includes more nuanced matters such as quirky headleases, property rights, rights of light and turnover leases.
You will work within the Commercial Real Estates subâteam, with a senior team of three highly regarded partners and one counsel, alongside several associates and juniors. You will be directly working with two of three partners, where you will be collaborating on transactions and direct contact with key clients. The role offers genuine responsibility and progression. You will be involved in the longâterm development of the teamâs client relationships and business development initiatives, while also supporting trainees, paralegals and junior associates. As you develop, you will take a lead role on transactions and assume responsibility for coordinating multiâdisciplinary teams across departments such as construction, planning, litigation and tax.
The Ideal Candidate is an England & Wales qualified solicitor with 2â4 years PQE in Commercial Property law (preferably with experience from a topâtier real estate or construction law firm). Strong technical skills in Commercial property matters and a solid understanding of the UK real estate sector. An excellent communicator with strong client relationshipâbuilding abilities. A proactive approach to business development and a desire to contribute to the growth of the department. Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision and take on a high degree of responsibility.
