As a Senior Associate or Managing Associate in the Banking & Finance team, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of matters, with a particular focus on Trade Finance. Your work will include advising on bilateral and syndicated lending, trade finance transactions, banking regulation and compliance and issues relating to money laundering regulations and sanctions.
You’ll also play a key role in supporting junior fee earners, providing supervision and guidance to help them thrive. Work alongside highly regarded partners and lawyers with national reputations and proven expertise across the Trade Finance, Banking and Finance sectors.

4+ years PQE (England & Wales), with a strong background in Trade Finance, including experience with letters of credit, receivables finance, and credit risk insurance. A solid understanding of regulatory capital, non-payment insurance, and the role of insurance in Trade Finance. Experience with electronic shipping and trade documentation, export credit arrangements, and borrowing-based lending structures. Familiarity with the oil, gas, metals, and soft commodities sectors would be beneficial. Strong commercial awareness, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering quality legal services.
