The firm is seeking an International Arbitration Associate (2-4 PQE) to join its highly ranked arbitration team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex commercial and investment treaty arbitrations, as well as arbitration-related litigation before the English courts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international arbitration, with experience handling cases under key arbitration rules such as ICC, LCIA, SIAC, and ICSID. The role will involve:
- Managing arbitration cases from initial instructions through to final hearings.
- Drafting statements of case, witness statements, and application documents.
- Selecting and instructing experts and counsel where necessary.
- Handling document production and evidentiary hearings.
- Advising clients on enforcement of arbitral awards overseas.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years PQE with a focus on international arbitration.
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales (or an equivalent foreign qualification with UK experience).
- Strong knowledge of the 1996 Arbitration Act and international arbitration rules.
- Experience in commercial arbitration matters (investment treaty experience is a plus).
- Additional language skills are desirable.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
