The business is seeking a talented Construction Lawyer to join their team as a Construction Contracts Manager.

Founded over 100 years ago, the business has a rich history of providing insurance for a range of clients, particularly in the Construction and Maritime industries. The business provide comprehensive insurance management services, including claims handling, risk management, underwriting, and financial and regulatory support.
The Role
As a Construction Contracts Manager, you will play a vital role in reviewing appointment documents and negotiating amendments. You will join a large team of experienced solicitors and legal executives dedicated to assisting their members in securing appointments on terms that align with their coverage. You will also handle negotiations that arise from these appointments.
You will review Members\’ appointment documents and related materials to provide guidance on coverage positions, propose necessary amendments to ensure documents are within coverage parameters, negotiate amendments with Members\’ clients and/or their advisers as required, participate in meetings with Members to explain coverage issues and deliver presentations to members on coverage-related topics.
You will review and negotiate broad range of contractual documentation with clients, sub-contractors and consultants relating to Construction Law, these include; collateral warranties, framework agreements, joint venture agreements NEC and FIDIC, and much more.
Requirements
- Experience in non-contentious construction law, gained from a law firm or an in-house legal team.
- Familiarity with professional indemnity matters concerning construction professionals.
- 1-8 PQE – UK Qualified
